Pakistani Town Cut Off From World
From the BBC article, residents of Tiarza in northern Pakistan were cut off from the rest of the world as the Pakistani army moved into the town, purportedly hunting Taliban in the area. According to the army, the Taliban destroyed the village’s only communication tower late Sunday cutting off the town from the rest of the world.
A resident from Tiarza who escaped the violence called the Army’s account into question claiming that the communications tower was destroyed by aerial bombardment.
